Treating you and your pet like part of our family
Our journey started in 2015 with three practices, including Minster Vets in York, where our CEO and founder Jo Malone was a vet and pet owner.
In collaboration with other experienced veterinary professionals, she set out to create a caring group of veterinary practices and businesses with a welcoming, family feel, guided by people with extensive experience of practice life and pet care.
Today we’re proud to have developed a supportive group of over 500 diverse small animal, equine, farm, mixed and referral practices across the UK, who share a commitment to treating every animal like one of their own, whilst offering their own individual set of services to meet the needs of the local communities they serve.
We’ve also diversified to include other veterinary businesses, like nursing schools, laboratories and pet crematoriums, allowing us to give back to our profession and offer even more services to our clients.
We’d love for you to feel like you and your pet are part of our family when you visit one of our sites, where you can make the most of relevant advice, compassionate patient care and great customer service.
You know your pet better than anyone, and we’re here to help you make the right decisions and ensure that your pet always receives the best care.
Our group is defined by five key values: being respectful, working in collaboration, supporting each other and being dedicated and approachable.
In short, we work together to support our patients, clients and each other.
Supporting our pets, people and profession
As a vet-led group of practices and businesses, we understand what’s important to pet owners.
Our practice-focused, collaborative way of working means that we can anticipate, and then deliver, exactly what our patients and clients need.
Bolstered by our friendly central support team, our practices are supported in all areas, from their day-to-day clinical work to finance, human resources and marketing.
By continually investing in our sites and the careers and wellbeing of our teams, we give our people the tools needed to thrive in their roles, allowing them to deliver the highest levels of care to you and your pet.
Our colleagues truly benefit from being part of a like-minded group, as they gain access to extra training, career progression plans, investment and wellbeing resources and our clinical network, instilling a sense of positivity and community.
We’re committed to progressing veterinary care
Together, we’re always striving to improve and progress veterinary care for the benefit of our patients, clients and the wider profession.
Our teams, practices and businesses have formed a thriving clinical community, who share knowledge, review the latest findings, develop resources and ensure that your pet receives the best care the veterinary profession has to offer.
Taking care of your pet and our planet
Our responsibility to our patients and clients goes hand in hand with our commitment to protecting our environment.
We endeavour to work as sustainably as possible, through cutting back on our energy consumption, avoiding single-use plastics, recycling and developing outdoor spaces for our clients, patients, teams and wildlife to enjoy.
The VetPartners family is also proud to support charities, causes and initiatives across the UK and further afield, as it gives us the opportunity to give back to our communities.
