We are looking for enthusiastic new graduates with relevant EMS experience to join our mixed animal practice.
The practice:
We are a highly progressive practice and are keen supporters of CPD up to AVP level. We offer a bespoke supportive environment and a four-day working week, ideal for new graduates to thrive at the start of their veterinary career. Not only do Vet Partners offer a two-year new graduate programme but we have our own ‘in house’ programme specifically designed to set you up for success!
At the New Era Veterinary Hospital, we fulfil a role as GP’s and perform work that a ‘referral hospital’ in the UK would do. As we are usually unable to send complex cases off island, the scope for caseload here is second to none. This guarantees exposure to a large variety of work, alongside certificate holders and a truly supportive network of colleagues. We currently have a small animal surgical AVP, and small animal medicine AVP with further vets studying for ophthalmology and exotics AVP’s. Our equine vet has completed an ABVP residency program, is currently expanding the large animal team and brings a wealth of new experience to the island.
The hospital has the usual diagnostic instruments – DR Xray, endoscopy, gastroscopy, ultrasound for both small and large animals, operating microscope, TPLO saws, small animal fracture kits and arthroscopy, small animal CT, an equine dental kit, and veterinary acupuncture kit.

On call rota is reduced to allow exposure to emergency work without becoming onerous.
