About Us

We are a busy 2 branch PSS accredited practice, and we are looking for a motivated, forward thinking small animal nurse to join and expand our team.

We are a first opinion practice that prides itself on good patient care, and we see a very varied caseload.

We have access to in-house laboratory equipment, ultrasound, digital x-rays (including dental x-rays), and anaesthetic monitoring equipment, such as pulse oximeters and capnographs.

We also have a therapeutic laser.

We have certificate holders within the nursing teams and encourage further learning and CPD.

About the Role

Small animal practice with 9 full- and part-time Vets, 9 RVNs 3 SVNs, and 5 ANAs. The ideal candidate would be a good team player who is enthusiastic and passionate about veterinary care.

The role involves a variety of duties, including monitoring of anaesthetics, performing radiographs, taking blood pressures, cytology, inpatient care, and keeping PSS standards.

We pride ourselves on the numerous nurse clinics we can offer, and we encourage ideas to keep moving the practice forward.

The rota is a 35–40-hour week, Monday – Friday, with a 1 in 9 Saturday morning rota. However, we are open to part-time applicants, and would be happy to discuss a flexible working pattern, for the right candidate. There is no out-of-hours required, as this is provided by our neighbouring hospital.

The role will work between St. David’s two sites, which are just over two miles apart in the Capital of Wales, giving easy access to the scenic valleys and coastline of South Wales.

We encourage our team to have a good work-life balance.
