Oakwood Vets have an exciting opportunity for a full-time Veterinary Surgeon and applications are welcome from new graduates. The role is permanent or can be a fixed term contract if preferred.

From our humble beginnings over a century ago as a traditional mixed practice, we have evolved into a 5 vet, RCVS accredited and nurse training small animal practice with all the toys facilities you would expect and a varied case load to develop your career.
Our client numbers are increasing in response to the excellent care we deliver, and we are looking to grow further over the coming years with building development underway to enlarge and improve our facilities.

We have the skills within the team and a VetGDP mentor to help support and develop a newly graduated Vet but equally can provide challenging work for a more experienced colleague and have the resources available to support study for a certificate if desired. An interest in surgery would be helpful to support our current surgery certificate holder.
Package & benefits include;
- Salary £35-45,000 (FTE) depending on experience.
- RCVS, BVA, BSAVA & VDS fees paid.
