Clinical Director – Eastgate Vet Group – Thetford, Norfolk
Here at Eastgate Veterinary Group, we have a great opportunity for a Clinical Director to shape the practice you work in!
Would you like to help our practice grow and improve? We’re looking for a Clinical Director to work with our team to help make Eastgate Vets the best we can be. You would be based at our Thetford branch in beautiful Norfolk, working with Hannah and Jo (our existing Clinical Directors), and Claire and Jo (our wonderful Practice Managers) to manage our 3 branches – with the other 2 being in charming market towns in North Suffolk.
Our full-time vets work a 4-day week (36 hours) and participate in a 1 in 10-12 out-of-hours rota (covering out-of-hours until 10pm weekdays, and 5pm weekends) with a Friday off the week after a weekend on-call. Our current Clinical Directors get 1 day a week of admin time, but this is flexible if you feel that you need more, or that you’d rather spend more of your time in clinical work. In addition to our two very experienced practice managers, we also have a fantastic admin team across all three branches.
We are in a great location for getting into London, Cambridge, or Norwich, with good rail links to the rest of the UK, and Stansted and Southend airports both within easy reach.

We’re proud to be supported by our head office at VetPartners, who enable us to invest in the practice and in our employees. Certificates are supported for those who want to go further into a particular area, and we currently have certificate holders in Small Animal Medicine, Feline Medicine, Ophthalmology, and a vet working towards an ECC certificate.
Salary starting from £50-55k depending on experience, plus you will be reimbursed with extra pay for out-of-hours work and second on-call weekend duties.
