Within our Graduate Development Programme, Small Animal, Equine, Farm & Mixed practices offer paths to confidence, as a Veterinary Surgeon, in your areas of interest. Our new cohorts meet collectively in September, and come together for focussed events, over two years. One of our state-of-the-art practices that are taking part in our programme is Parklands Vets in Cookstown, Co. Tyrone.
 
Parklands Vets are seeking to welcome a Farm Animal New Grad Vet to join their experienced team through our programme. Parklands is a multi departmental practice with intensive pig, poultry, farm small and equine departments. The large, talented farm team prioritise preventative medicine, herd health and productivity whilst providing 24-hour emergency cover for all the animals under their care (dairy, beef, and sheep clients throughout Mid Ulster). Parklands Farm team are renowned for being progressive and innovative, dealing with everything from OPU & embryo fertility services to progressive herd health and advanced bovine surgery. There is not a disease the team have not experienced, and you will gain a vast exposure to farm medicine and surgery, with the highly supportive 18 farm vets behind you. Our ethos is firmly routed in education and support, and striving for excellence in client and animal care.

The programme offers a blended learning approach of training days, in-house mentoring, CPD, and clinical practice, creating a varied platform for you to grow and develop as a Veterinary Surgeon.

In recognition, you will be offered both supportive 1 to 1 and group mentoring sessions, for engagement and interaction, as you develop an invaluable skillset. From surgical/medical experience, to enjoying teamwork, providing refined customer service & gaining business knowledge to support the security of great patient care.
