Small animal practice with 12,000 clients, so plenty of interesting medical and surgical case.

Close links with surrounding practices with specialist vets, overnight care, and more advanced equipment (eg. CT scanner).

We encourage case continuity for both the patient’s benefit and the vets to be able to see cases through.

We also have a great team of nurses, animal care assistants, and receptionists.

We have experienced vets studying towards certificates (imaging, medicine, surgery), as well as visiting orthopaedic and soft tissue specialist on a regular basis – plenty of scope for support/shadowing. We are happy to fund certificate, if interested, later into your career.

Our customer care team are all working towards their BVRA awards. We are also introducing a separate call handling team, so our front of house team can concentrate on giving the best customer care (not having to answer phones at the same time).

As you will be part of the Graduate Development Programme at VetPartners, you will be able to embrace a blended learning approach of training days, in-house mentoring, CPD, and clinical practice, creating a varied platform for you to grow and develop as a Veterinary Surgeon. You will be offered both supportive 1-to-1 and group mentoring sessions, for engagement and interaction, as you develop an invaluable skillset. From surgical/medical experience, to enjoying teamwork, providing refined customer service, and gaining business knowledge to support the security of great patient care.
