We’re looking for an experienced Registered Veterinary Nurse (RVN) to join the Anderson Abercromby Orthopaedic Referrals team at our fantastic purpose-built facility near Horsham.

Anderson Abercromby Veterinary Referrals is a busy, dedicated, small animal orthopaedic and spinal surgery referral practice. The Veterinary team comprises of two RCVS Specialists in Small Animal Surgery, one ECVS Diplomate in Small Animal Surgery, and one RCVS Advanced Practitioner. The nursing team comprises of ten RVNs and three VNAs led by an experienced Head Nurse.

Overall, the practice team has a supportive team culture and offers a great opportunity to work at a referral practice. We provide high levels of surgical and inpatient care. We are RCVS PSS accredited.

Two years ago, the practice re-located to a newly refurbished building with excellent facilities (3 operating theatres and on-site CT) in a beautiful rural setting. We are very well equipped to deal with the full range of orthopaedic procedures (THR, TPLO, CUE, arthroscopy etc).

The Role: This is a full-time position (40 hours per week) with 1 in 6 weekends on-call and two days back in lieu. No OOH. Shifts range from 7:30am – 7:30pm (8-hour day). Part-time considered with a fair share of late shifts.
