Avondale Veterinary, Co. Wicklow are looking for a RVN. Experienced and new grads are welcome to apply.
We are a mixed practice with 3 branches in Arklow, Rathdrum and Tinahely providing 24 hour cover to our clients all over Co. Wicklow. We are conveniently located near the beautiful Wicklow mountains and the Irish Sea and still only a 40 minute drive from Dublin. This role is 100% SA and with a dedicated team of receptionists and ACA’s we ensure our nurses are utilised effectively. It is a permanent full time position, 1:4 weekends, with no OOH or night duty.
We require
- A qualified veterinary nurse either registered in Ireland or eligible to register
- A passion for animal well-being and patient care
- Good communication skills to liaise with clients and your colleagues
- Ability to work within a team as well as using your own initiative
- Ability to multitask and plan efficiently
- Fully equipped practice with digital x-ray, Abaxis biochemistry and haematology, ultrasound, imagyst, blood pressure monitoring
