Laurels Veterinary Surgery are currently looking for a Small Animal Vet to join their current team.  The role can be based on 3 days per week but we will also consider a full-time vet who wishes to work over a 4/5-day week.

The Practice – The Laurels is a busy, friendly, and welcoming practice that sees a diverse range of cases, we have had a recent refurbishment and are proud of our new practice. We regularly get involved in all pet related aspects in the local community, from local small dogs shows, to school visits, career fairs and raising money for local charities.

The Role – It will involve working with another 3 full-time vets plus supporting on the weekend and bank holiday rota.  On a Saturday (1:4) based at The Laurels sole charge plus Sundays (1:12) and bank holidays (1/2 per year) working at our sister practice Beech House. There are no OOHs within this role, all patients are looked after by our OOH team at Beech House.

The Person – We are looking for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced, first opinion SA practice. We enjoy working together as a team, supporting each other and clinical discussions. If you are interested in being a Vet GDP advisor and supporting new graduates or wish to do a certificate in the future these are both possibilities…
