Rosevean Veterinary Practice are looking to recruit an equine clinical lead to join our mixed practice based in Cornwall.

This is a permanent role and a great opportunity to be part of an enthusiastic and sociable team in one of the most beautiful areas of the country!

About us:

We are a family friendly RCVS accredited practice, with a safe local area, boasting good schools and plenty of extracurricular activities … finish work (on time due to our diary management!) and pop to the beach for a surf/paddle board/swim/dog walk/or even a snooze, followed by a beach BBQ and beverage of your choice (Cornish cider is exceptional). Living and working in Cornwall really can feel like you are on holiday!

The Role:

The job will entail working at 4-day week (although we are open to discussion around flexible and part time working) and participation in a 1:6 OOH rota.

The clinical lead position will give you the opportunity to be more deeply involved in the day to day running and structure of the equine team, as well as the opportunity to help develop and grow our equine services offered.

About you:

The successful candidate will be personable, with a drive to deliver high quality primary care ambulatory work. You will have good communication skills and be able to build rapport with our lovely client base. Your clients will range from family ponies to competition riders, and you will have the best mobile equipment (DR, ultrasound, endoscope, gastroscope, motorised dental equipment) at your disposal to enable you to deliver optimal client care at their yard.

We offer a great range of benefits including:

  • Salary up to £55k per annum pro rata DOE
  • Professional memberships (RCVS, VDS and BVA)
  • 5 weeks annual leave plus Bank Holidays (or equivalent pro rata)
  • £1750 CPD allowance
  • Workplace pension scheme
  • Health Shield membership and My Perks membership
  • Enhanced maternity, paternity, adoption, shared parental leave and surrogacy pay
  • Company sick pay
  • Annual pay reviews
  • Colleague engagement survey and focus on employee wellbeing
  • Company vehicle optional

Any questions before applying?

For an informal, confidential chat speak to our clinical director, Jenna Elliott on 07788655415, who will be happy to help you with any questions you have before applying for this role.
