Poultry Health Services is a modern, supportive and  progressive Veterinary Practice which has been developed to meet the individual needs of all the producers by creating dedicated veterinary teams in all the aspects of poultry production. Clients are our primary focus.

We are currently looking for a full time Official Veterinarian to help our busy practice in Sheriff Hutton,  York. The successful applicant would oversee two export contracts located near York. Part time Official Veterinarian would be considered for this role too.

The role would consist of working 8:30am to 4.00 pm with some days working 11:30am to 4:30pm, no weekend or out of hours would be required. A full induction will be provided together with a base salary of £35,000 to £40,000 depending on experience plus benefits. A team of administrators will support the Official Veterinarian on the daily duties.

We are an enthusiastic and friendly growing team of 24 vets, which looks after poultry producers all over the UK. Part of our duties include exports, and we are looking for a colleague that would lead the export Division of the Practice. The successful candidate will be involved not only in exports but also  in internal CPD’s and meetings with the wider export group within VetPartners and also external CPD with Improve International and APHA. It is expected that the successful candidate will be  up to date with the changes in export requirements and legislation and will cascade to the rest of the team. The export Division is a growing department within our Practice and there will be career progression as the Practice expands, we get more contracts and the export team grows.
