Veterinary Surgeon – Ensbury Vets – Bournemouth, Dorset
Would you like to part of a small team that enjoys a great work-life balance?
A great salary awaits the right candidate, ranging from £35,000-£55,000 DOE.
We have over 20 years of experience with friendly down-to-earth team ethos. High quality patient care is what we strive to offer. You’ll have continuity and support in your new role with us.
If you’re looking to mix up your time in a practice, we have an even balance of consultations and surgery; you will be able to dedicate more of this time to complex cases. If you have a broad interest in general practice and are confident with some sole charge, this is the position for you – we are willing to provide extra support for those who have the potential for sole charge, but aren’t quite there yet.
Based in the beautiful resort town of Bournemouth, you’ll have plenty of opportunities to explore everything the locality has to offer. From a cold drink in a bar after a hot day in the sun, to hiking the hills and forest paths, or chasing that adrenaline rush of flying down the PierZip, there is something for everyone to enjoy.
Why are we great to work for?
Being part of a small team gives a great opportunity to develop your skill set, confidence, and job satisfaction. We have an experienced team who are forward thinking and receptive to new ideas, but equally will offer support if needed or encouragement to pursue post-graduate qualifications.
What are the hours?
The role is based on a 40hr week. This covers 4 days 8.30-6.30 and every other Saturday morning 8.30-12 for urgent cases only.
This role also has the option of being split between time working at our Ensbury practices, as well as other VetPartners practices. We can also be accommodating to flexible working hours, perfect for anyone who’s looking to wind down their working life, or someone who is looking to get back into the workplace after time off from work or family leave.
