Widening participation within our profession

VetPartners Bursaries

VetPartners is helping to create a more diverse profession by removing financial barriers for students studying veterinary medicine.

Through our bursary scheme, we’re supporting students who already have a university place but would struggle to support their studies without additional assistance.

We want to encourage and support under-represented groups to view the veterinary profession as something that’s not only aspirational, but also attainable!

What is the VetPartners Bursary?

It’s an annual award of £1,500 for veterinary undergraduate students, given out each year of their degree (typically five years).

The total value of the bursary is £7,500, and we offer up to 15 new bursaries each autumn.
